Formed in spring 2004 as The Libertines began to fall apart, Babyshambles quickly became Pete Doherty’s outlet for his poetic, chaotic rock. The band’s early line-up settled with Patrick Walden, Drew McConnell and Gemma Clarke, releasing their debut 7" in 2004 and the single Killamangiro soon after. Following Clarke’s departure in 2005, Adam Ficek joined on drums.
