She’s currently working on her first EP and is a member of the Nyege Nyege Collective as well as co-founder of Dope Gal . Together with R3ign Drops she performs as the DJ Duo Black Sistarz and they co-founded Dope Gal as a platform for women to collaborate through creative projects. . “Too many amazing female artists on the Continent, and not enough are given the opportunity to shine”, that’s how Dope Gal got started and how Catu is using her international career as a platform to champion others. While in Cologne, Catu linked up with Cape Verdean, German femcee Oh Lorena under the Dope Gal project to release ABUNDANCIA on 19.01.2023.
