DJ Khalipha (Lawal Habeeb Kola), born March 23, 1999, in Lagos with roots in Isin, Kwara State, is the creator of the Mara sound, now evolved into Street House – a new wave of Afro-electronic street vibes. Blending Afrobeat and EDM energy, his beats have gained thousands of listeners worldwide. From viral Mara classics like ‘Mara Pass Mara’ to his latest Street House drops, DJ Khalipha continues to push the boundaries of African electronic music.
