How does one write bio for someone who, in many circles, is regarded as one of the Godfathers of punk rock? Whose band Rolling Stone once called “The missing link between glam and punk rock?” Whose stage attire is ensconced in the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame?” Seems a bit superfluous, but here goes.
