DJ Hruscsov has been involved in music since the age of six, studying clarinet and piano, and later working as a music teacher. He eventually transitioned from classical music to rock, performing in several bands and touring extensively during those years. In 1997, he discovered electronic music, and by 1999 he had become deeply involved in psytrance culture, representing the second generation of the Goa scene. Since 2000, his name has been associated with major events as a DJ, producer, and event organizer. With his own brand, Y-Production, he has been a leading figure in the scene for over 17 years. He has performed in almost every country in Europe, playing at numerous festivals and clubs, including Ozora Festival, S.U.N. Festival, Epochka Lake, Spirit Base, EFOTT Festival, A38, Dürer Kert, and Budapest Park. As a producer, in addition to his own live act (Y-East), he has collaborated with several artists such as Kalumet, Insector, and Sterbinszky. In 2023, Hruscsov became an artist of the internationally renowned Goa label Dacru Records, where he stands out as one of the most versatile musical personalities. His sound spans from progressive psytrance to full-on, from Anglo-Saxon psytrance to darker night psy, offering a wide yet refined musical spectrum.
