Charlotte, North Carolina-based electronic bass music producer and DJ, Jazmin Mencia is best known under her music moniker JVZMIN. In her decade-plus tenure as a rising musician, she has created a brand, vision, and name for herself with a multitude of neck-breaking releases, high-octane performances, acquiring a fan base and support system of listeners, mentors, and of other budding artists. Her knockout releases such as “DAWN”, her remix of Hardwell’s “Pacman”, and her remix variant of Kai Wachi and Excision’s “Demisaur”, are prime examples of her skill and prowess in producing hits. She has amassed nearly one hundred-thousand streams across all platforms and is showing no signs of slowing her monumental ascension. JVZMIN finds motivation in being a standup mother to her daughter, showing her that if you work hard and put in the time, anything is possible. Inspired by artists like Excision, Space Laces, and Kayzo, she emulates that into her creations of bass music. JVZMIN was one of the ten winners of Excision and KJ Sawka’s Bass Music Initiative, allowing her to utilize resources and assets to amplify her career as a rising bass music producer. She has also been mentored by artists like Felmax and INHUMAN, allowing herself to learn new skill sets, and styles of music, while refining her unique and rail-breaking sound design.
