Boldly expressing her first-generation Chinese-American and queer identities, Miss Crafty’s creative exploration of electronic music transports you on an auditory journey. A San Francisco native, her introduction to the vibrant underground rave culture of the early 2010s prompted her immersion into the scene. From sneaking out of her childhood home to revel in the San Francisco/Oakland rave scene, to falling in love with techno at Fast Forward Productions warehouse parties in Copenhagen, to getting lost in the entrancing dungeons of Berlin, and most recently DJing in abandoned prisons, schools, and gyms in Mexico City – Miss Crafty’s musical style serves as a dynamic reflection of her nomadic journey, a fusion of the places she’s called home.
