About
A pair of 2016 EPs -- January's The Silence Is Deafening and October's Something Is Wrong -- paved the way for Rezz's full-length debut, Mass Manipulation, which arrived in August 2017 via Mau5trap, and subsequently won a Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year. The follow-up album Certain Kind of Magic appeared in 2018 and featured collaborations with Deathpact, Kotek, and Fytch. Led by high-profile tracks like "Falling," which featured Underoath, and the solo cut "Dark Age," Rezz's fourth EP, Beyond the Senses, was released in July 2019. The release became her second to win a Juno for Electronic Album of the Year. Over the next year, she issued several popular singles including "Orbit" and the Grabbitz collaboration "Someone Else." Her third full-length, Spiral, arrived in November 2021 and featured a handful of guests, including American alt-rockers PVRIS on "Sacrificial," singer Dove Cameron on "Taste of You," and Fknsyd (aka Sydney Fisher) on "Let Me In." She followed the album with 2022's Nightmare on Rezz Street 2 Mix and several singles, including 2023's "Suffer in Silence" and "Blue in the Face." Can You See Me?, an album featuring guests like Subtronics, Holly, and Digital Ethos, appeared in 2024. ~ Heather Phares, Rovi
