Urethane

Urethane is a San Diego–based punk band formed in 2020. Drawing from skate punk and melodic hardcore, the band prioritizes speed, tension, and tightly structured songs built for momentum rather than nostalgia. The writing is direct, focused, and emotionally restrained, emphasizing urgency over polish. Urethane was formed by members with backgrounds in punk, hardcore, and skate culture, including Tim Fennelly (vocals, guitar), Chad Ruiz (bass), and Dylan Wade (drums). Guitarist Steve Caballero (The Faction, Odd Man Out) was an early member and is no longer part of the band as of late 2025. Mario J. Rivera (guitar, vocals) joined the band in 2026, rounding our the four-piece.
